How can you measure amp?

In an electrical system you can calculate amperage by taking your voltage and dividing it by your resistance according to OHM’s Law. You can use a multimeter with that functionality to measure amperage such as a Fluke 1587. Please let me know if you have any more questions!
You measure the amp putting the metter in serie with the circuit.
